Islamabad: Senior journalist Ayaz Amir’s son was arrested on the charge of murdering his daughter-in-law “Sarah” in Chak Shahzad area of Islamabad. According to the report of Urdu News, Islamabad Police. According to DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chhata, at 9:30 am on Friday, local people informed the patrolling police of Islamabad that there were noises coming from Shahnawaz’s farmhouse. But the floor was being washed.
According to the police, the accused apparently killed his wife Sarah Inam by repeatedly stabbing her with a dumbbell used in the gym and then moving the body from the bedroom to the bathroom. The upper body of the deceased has obvious signs of severe torture.
In the initial investigation, the accused confessed to the crime. The report further stated that the victim is a Canadian citizen. The Islamabad Police have also contacted the Canadian Embassy.
The deceased is also an economist. Deceased’s two brothers and father work in America. Deceased Sara was working in an accounting firm.
