How To Draw A Clown

How To Draw A Clown. A clown is a comedic performer who typically wears exaggerated makeup, a colorful wig, and eccentric attire. Clowns not only fascinate young children but people of all ages are amused by their ridiculous antics. They are most often seen at the circus. The extreme popularity of clowns has made it a highly sought-after tutorial. To meet the demands of our dear readers, we have created a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw a clown.

This guide consists of 9 simple instructions combined with simple illustrations, which makes it much easier to follow the steps one by one. Have fun and use your creativity and artistic talents! You can draw many more characters like goku drawing, Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.

Step 1:

Begin by drawing a standing oval shape in the center of your essay. This describes the shape of the clown’s head. Avoid pushing too hard with the pencil when sketching. It’s important to draw with light strokes so that you can easily remove any part of the outline you don’t need later.

To ensure that the clown’s head is drawn in the center, you can use reference lines. Simply draw a horizontal and vertical intersection line and use these lines as a guide. The point where the two lines meet marks the center point, where you should define the head of the clown.

Step 2:

Draw two semicircles on either side of the clown’s head. This forms the pair of ears for the clown. Make sure the shape of the ears is uniform. Remember to add two small curved lines on each ear to create the inner or inner ear. It also adds detail to your drawing, making it more realistic.

Step 3:

Clowns normally wear a hat, so that’s exactly what we’ll be drawing in this step. The hat can be created by simply drawing a half circle with a slightly flat bottom above the clown’s head. This creates the height of the hat.

Then draw an oval shape around the bottom of the wreath to form the edge. Next, draw a line along the bottom of the crown to create the headband that wraps around the crown. Don’t forget to erase any part of the head outline that overlaps the hat!

Step 4:

For clown hair, you can draw any hairstyle you want! Clowns often have fun hairstyles, so keep that in mind when drawing clown hair. As you can see in the illustration, we kept the clown’s hair simple but distinct. To create the afro pictured above, draw a scalloped line that forms a side triangle shape on either side of the clown’s head. This forms the big spiky hair piece of the clown.

Step 5:

Draw two curved line shapes under the hat to create the clown’s pair of arched eyebrows. Make sure the eyebrows are even and drawn at the same level.

Step 6:

Draw a perfect circle in the lower middle of the clown’s face. This creates a huge round nose, one of the most distinctive physical characteristics of a clown!

Step 7:

Just below the nose, draw two curved lines on top of each other to create a smiling mouth. Next, draw the mouth following its shape. This creates the illusion of smudged lipstick surrounding the clown’s mouth.

Step 8:

In this step, you can style the clown however you like! As shown in the illustration above, we just added a small flower to the back of the clown’s head. Feel free to add more designs to the hat or some decorations to the hair. Don’t be afraid to overdo the design! The more creative the designs, the funnier the clown!

Step 9:

Draw a large standing oval shape just below each eyebrow. Then, inside each eye, draw a small circle with another small circle inside to create the pupil and iris respectively. Add shadow to the entire pupil and leave the iris shadowed. This creates a dramatic “glittering eye” effect. Now that we’ve successfully drawn a clown, it’s time for the most exciting part, coloring your drawing!

This is the part where you can show off your artistic skills, especially your ability to mix and match different colors. Which colors you use for the clown is totally up to you! But here’s a trick you might find useful: mix the colors white, yellow, red, and blue to create a skin color. But depending on the complexion you’re trying to achieve, you may need more than one color. Have fun playing with colors and finally watch the clown come to life!
